This training is part of Sacred Heart Community Service’s ongoing series, which you can learn more about here. This in person workshop runs from 9am-1pm at Sacred Heart Community Service (1381 S. First Street). Snacks, childcare and lunch is provided. These workshops are great ways to connect with other community leaders across the South Bay, as well as great opportunities to develop your community organizing skills. This online workshop will focus on research actions. Research actions - meeting with elected officials to learn what they think - are exciting, unpredictable, and essential to winning campaigns. But how should we prepare for them? What should we say? Get skills and practice time in this evening workshop that will increase your confidence for your next meeting.
